Endless Enticements
The Salman Ranch Store is housed in the old Mercantile Building of the La Cueva Historic District. The building is on the Historic Registry and is still outfitted with the counters that have witnessed 160 years of merchandising.
We have a number of new items in the Store this year (2012), including our Chile Berry which was introduced at the end of the 2011 Season. We have also added a local quite wonderful new goat soap to accompany our wonderful lavender soap we have carried for several seasons. The 2011 t-shirt is a faded blue to match those well worn levis and sports the message “Life is berry good @salmanraspberryranch.com. . The pollen drenched bee adorns our new coffee and tea mugs. Accompanying the mug will be a free beautiful note card with the same image. Be on the look out for it. More information to come. Do stay in touch and visit us soon! Salman Ranch Staff

About The Store's History
When the Store originally opened measurements were done by wooden measuring boxes, and the Store was stocked with the staples needed by a pioneering family, a part of the regiment at Fort Union, or an Hispanic farm family that came to refurbish their pantries. The Salman Ranch Raspberry products are nestled in a turn of the century pie safe and the Store is populated by other period antiques. The wooden floors are original to the period of the building's construction, and the windows are shuttered by hand made wooden shutters, painted blue to mirror the vast blue skies of northern New Mexico.
Yummy Treats
VISIT THE STORE DURING THE U PICK IT SEASON FOR FRESH RASPBERRIES, STILL WARM FROM THE AUTUMN SUN.
The Salman Ranch Store offers an assortment of products, all hand picked for their quality and tastiness. At the top of the list are the award winning Salman Ranch Raspberry products: Jam, Topping, Vinegar and Chile Berry (a concoction of roasted New Mexico green chilie and our sweet raspberries.) The original raspberry products have been chosen as the Best Sweet in competition by the Albuquerque Journal, and they are noted for their flavor and their delicate sweetness which allows the raspberry flavor to dominate. Our ranch grown raspberries are a part of our raspberry creme candy, our raspberry fudge and raspberry & peanut butter fudge bars as well
Additionally, we carry Raspberry chipotle sauce, raspberry honey, raspberry fudge sauce, salsas, Chimayo red chile, a wide assortment of New Mexico spices, dried soup mixes, New Mexico pistachios, Senor Murphy candies, The Shed red chile sauce, roasted and jarred New Mexico green chile, Kentucky barbecue sauce, and a miriad of other mouth watering products.
To top it all off, the Store is filled with dried flowers (statice, straw flowers, larkspur) from our Ranch gardens. Recently brides have been using our dried flowers in their wedding plans, and every year we sell out of our vibrant dried bouquets. Vegetables from the Ranch Garden are also available.
Ranch T-Shirts
Each year the Ranch creates a t-shirt with images that depict some aspect of the Ranch raspberry operation. These t shirts have become collector's items with a new t shirt having been created every year since 1992. Along with the t shirt are hand made quilts, and towels, hats, and aprons with the Salman Ranch logo.
Karl Koenig Photography
We are pleased to display and sell the photographs of internationally recognized photographer Karl Koenig. Dr. Koenig is noted for his gumoil technique, a process which he created and which make images of surprising depth and beauty.
